For Austria, the official national anthem is titled "Land der Berge, Land am Strome" (meaning "Land of Mountains, Land on the River").

At international football matches, UEFA European Championship games, and World Cup qualifiers, the Burschen (The Boys) and their supporters follow a straightforward arrangement. They sing strictly the First Verse of the anthem. Because it is highly melodic and precise, the stadium arrangement concludes cleanly on the final bar of that initial stanza.
